به گزارش روز شنبه ایرنا، 'رستم قاسمی' یكی از موضوع های مورد بررسی در نشست آینده اوپك را انتخاب دبیركل جدید برای این سازمان اعلام و تصریح كرد:ایران نیز نامزدی برای این مقام معرفی می كند.

دبیركل كنونی اوپك 'عبداله سالم البدری ' اهل كشور لیبی است كه از سال 2007 میلادی تاكنون در این سمت فعالیت دارد و برای دو دوره این مسئولیت را برعهده داشت.

به گزارش شبكه اطلاع رسانی نفت وانرژی، وزیر نفت این سخنان را در حاشیه دیدار پایان هفته گذشته خود با 'عاصم حسین'، وزیر انرژی و منابع طبیعی پاكستان كه برای توسعه همكاری دو كشور در زمینه تبادل فراورده های نفتی و محصولات پتروشیمی و همچنین تقاضای افزایش حجم گاز صادراتی ایران به پاكستان به تهران سفر كرده، مطرح كرد.

قاسمی در این اظهارات تصریح كرد كه در نشست آینده اوپك، ایران به طور قطع بر تثبیت سقف تولید كنونی نفت اعضای این سازمان تأكید می كند.

وزیر نفت گفت: ما درباره سقف تولید نفت صحبت خواهیم كرد و بحث بازار نیز از مواردی است كه مورد گفت و گو قرار می گیرد و امیدواریم به نتیجه خوبی برسیم.

جمهوری اسلامی ایران همواره در دوران پس از پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی با معرفی نامزدهایی حضوری فعال در موضوع انتخاب دبیركل این سازمان داشته است.

از زمان تاسیس اوپك تاكنون تنها یك بار دبیركلی اوپك نصیب ایران شد و 'فواد روحانی ' در دوره سال های 1961 تا 1964 میلادی به عنوان نخستین دبیركل این سازمان ، این مقام را در اختیار داشت.
