به گزارش ایرنا دكتر پیروز مجتهدزاده شامگاه پنجشنبه در مراسم اختتامیه اولین همایش بین المللی محیط زیست و ژئوپلتیك خلیج فارس در قشم افزود: این كشور غیر از این دو مبحث، بازی جدیدی تحت عنوان اختلاف افكنی بین شیعه وسنی درقالب اسلام گرایی سلفی خشونت آمیز، آغاز كرده و در این راستا زمینه نفوذ این نوع اسلام گرایی را در سراسر دنیا نیز فراهم ساخته است.

وی با اشاره به اینكه معرفی شیعه به عنوان دشمن، بخشی از برنامه دشمن تراشی آمریكاست، تصریح كرد: دولتمردان آمریكایی از طریق سازمان سیا ،گروه های سلفی القاعده و طالبان را در افغانستان برای مقابله با اسلام انقلابی ایجاد كردند با این استدلال كه این اسلام را شیعیان ایران با انقلاب اسلامی آورده اند.

این استاد جغرافیای سیاسی به قدرت رسیدن شیعیان در عراق را نتیجه تسلیم واشنگتن به یكی از اصول دمكراسی یعنی پذیرش رای اكثریت دانست و گفت: به رغم این موضوع آمریكا در میان كشورهای عربی اسلامی این تلقی را ترویج می كند كه تهران به دنبال به قدرت رساندن شیعیان در جهان است و در نتیجه ژئوپلتیك شیعه گری از سوی آمریكا در منطقه مطرح شده است.

وی با اظهار امیدواری نسبت به پایان یافتن رقابت قدرت های اسلامی در منطقه در پاسخ به برخی ادعاها در مورد نام خلیج فارس، جزایرسه گانه و آلوده شدن محیط زیست خلیج فارس از سوی ایران گفت: همه اسناد ومدارك كاملا معتبر در رد این ادعاها در مراجع بین المللی موجود است و این مراجع با استناد به این مدارك، هویت ایرانی خلیج فارس و جزایر مذكور را تایید كرده اند و آلودگی محیط زیست خلیج فارس نیزطبق مدارك و شواهد بعد از حضور ناوهای آمریكایی و استفاده افراطی و غیراصولی برخی كشورهای ساحلی جنوب خلیج فارس ازآب شیرین كن ها به شدت افزایش یافته است.
